SPRING KIDS CAMP

We are beyond excited to announce a spring kids camp again this year, here on the farm! This was a huge success last year and we’re thrilled that we can offer yet another wholesome and wonderful experience to our community this year!

What To Expect
Kids ages 5-12 years old
$275 donation per child for all 5 days
$225 per sibling
Listen to all it is that your kids are going to have the blessing to do and learn:
- Engage in hands on play, interact with, cuddle, feed, learn about, and have fun with all of our farm animals.
- Learning about and participating in simple farm chores to learn responsibilities
- They will have an opportunity to milk a goat if they would like and learn about goat milk soap
- Learning about how to resource off of the land around us (such as we resource robusta eucalyptus and create essential oils from them, there are wild blueberries, guava & dewberries on the farm etc)
- When they meet and learn about the chickens, they can also grab an egg from the nesting box and learn about eggs
- We will have some nature and Montessori inspired arts and crafts that they will get to create to bring home
- They will learn about organically growing fruits and vegetables, have the opportunity to plant some seeds to bring home to continue to learn and to watch them grow
- We will go on a nature walk in the woods with a nature scavenger hunt
- We will talk briefly about off grid, living and homesteading
- We will give them opportunities to play and have fun with lawn games at our little picnic area outside of the animals pens in the common area during snack time - 1 bottle of water and a few small mid morning snacks provided
- They will have the opportunity for Freeform play on the farm and in nature for a small portion of every day
- Opportunities to play in our monestory farm homeschool house
